The workspace supports up to 2 million tokens for extended, coherent work sessions.

The core concept of HaloMate is building a team of AI Mates, which are specialized AI members configured with specific expertise, personas, and independent memory. Each Mate remembers the user's preferences, key context, and working rules without requiring re-prompting at the start of each session.

A research Mate, a writing Mate, and a coding Mate can each maintain separate context relevant to their function, allowing the user to delegate to the appropriate expert without contextual overhead.

HaloMate's AutoPilot feature handles autonomous research tasks by planning, iterating, and cross-referencing information across web sources, news, and academic journals, then synthesizing findings into structured reports with visualizations.

This replaces the manual cycle of search, read, synthesize, and document for research-heavy workflows. The AutoPilot is positioned as a research assistant that handles the retrieval and organization work while the user focuses on analysis and decisions.
